After making the mind map, we decided to research current models on the market to see what problems and solutions already existed.


Definition: Soap dispensers are accessories that hold soap and dispense single-use amounts.

Operation: They can be manually operated with a handle, or automatic with a sensor built in.

Types: Soap dispensers can contain, powder, foam, or the most common liquid soap, and the design of the dispenser depends on what type of soap it holds.

Prices: The Price range for household units is between $5 and $20 and between $50 and $200 for commercial ones, generally seen in public restrooms.

Positioning: The dispensers can be free standing, deck mounted, wall mounted, or built into the sink.
